RNA
  • ANSA-TTR contains RNA and DNA samples derived from the tumor tissues and have been isolated following stringent quality control testing. Prior to extraction, each sample is certified by a pathologist and images of the H&E slides are captured and documented.

  • 1.RNA is isolated from tissues stored

  • 2.The RNA is extracted using the standard TRIzol reagent

  • 3.Every sample is checked for integrity using an Agilent Bioanalyzer. RNA quality is portrayed to clients in terms of an RNA integrity number (RIN) as defined by the Agilent Bioanalyzer. The RIN score is a standardized objective measurement of RNA quality obtained from tissues. This score may be used by researchers to determine the suitability of the RNA for their experiments.

  • 4.High-quality RNA are received from over 80% of our surgical samples

DNA
  • Standard protocols of DNA extraction are used for isolation of DNA

  • 1.Proteinase K digestion followed by phenol extraction is employed

  • 2.The purity of the extracted samples is analysed by A260/280 ratio

  • 3.The integrity of the DNA is checked by gel electrophoresis

  • 4.We maintain an inventory wherein a collection of these DNA aliquots is available on request. For further details, kindly write to us at info@ansaresearch.com

Fixed Tissues
  • Formalin Fixed Paraffin Embedding (FFPE) and Frozen Blocks/Sections:
    Tumor samples are available as formalin-fixedparaffin embedded or as frozen, OCT-embedded blocks/sections. All slides will be available with complete pathology verification data, clinical annotation (including patient age, gender, and minimum stage grouping), H&E images of the source block for both the FFPE and frozen formats The following are available:

  • 1.Paraffin blocks

  • 2.Cryomolds

  • 3.H&E stained paraffin sections

  • 4.Unstained formalin fixed sections

  • 5.Cryosections

  • 6.Standard operating procedures are followed during the entire procedure and as a quality control criteria, sections are verified by H & E staining and immunohistochemistry/ immunofluoresence analysis.
